Shermie Cadabona began her martial arts training in 1985 when she studied Aikido, Tai Chi, and Kung Fu. In 1990, she discovered her love for Kali-Escrima, Silat, Jeet Kune Do, and Muay Thai. Her instructors include Burton Richardson, Guy Chase, Bunkerd Faphimai, and Adrian Tandez. In addition, she has trained under Dan Inosanto, Francis Fong, Chai Sirusute, and Jean-Jacques Machado. Shermie also appeared in June Castro’s Self Defense for Women video series. She has been teaching since 1998.

Besides being a martial artist, Shermie is also a licensed acupuncturist and certified massage therapist. She strives to inspire others to discover their own path to growth not only as martial artists or patients, but also as physical and spiritual beings.

Jimmy McCullough started his martial arts education at age 11. His training includes Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Wing Chun, and Kemscrima-Doh. Jimmy is a fifth-degree black belt, and has been teaching since 2000. He has taught a variety of students over the years, from senior citizens and toddlers (some as young as two), to developmentally disabled adults and average people with no previous martial arts experience.

In addition to his martial arts prowess, Jimmy is also an accomplished visual artist. His paintings have been exhibited at numerous venues in San Francisco and the Berkeley/Oakland area.
